Michael Grant

Michael Grant, a 1983 graduate of Howard University Law School, is the President, National Bankers Association, Washington, DC.   Mr. Grant was a corporate consultant for the last fourteen years. His firm's client list included the following companies: Citizens Bank of Tennessee, Marriott Corporation, Dell Computers, Cracker Barrel Restaurants, Ritz-Carlton Hotels, Westin Hotels, McDonald's Restaurants, Hyatt Regency Hotels and Harrah's Casinos.

An author of two books, Mr. Grant also served in the press office of former U. S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Joe Califano and chaired media credential for President Jimmy Carter's White House Conference on Families. He also lobbied Capitol Hill where he helped to successfully shape legislation for many of his clients.

Mr. Grant has been a recognized leader in community economic development for the last 20 years
and has worked with national organizations to advance and promote minority economic empowerment.
