Laura Fisher

Laura Fisher is director of the American Bankers Association Education Foundation, a non-profit subsidiary of the American Bankers Association.  Best known for its signature programs, Teach Children to Save and Get Smart About Credit, the Foundation’s mission is to help bankers improve their communities through financial education.  The Foundation also serves as the central clearinghouse for the banking industry’s financial education efforts by providing information and statistics to the media, congressional offices and regulatory agencies. 

Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Fisher was senior manager of public relations at the American Bankers Association.  She also was communications director of the American Association for Homecare and worked at Edelman Public Relations.  She has a communication studies degree from the University of Alabama.
