Remarks: Wells Fargo is committed to financial literacy

Cara Heiden is co-president for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, a Wells Fargo company and one of the nation's leading providers of residential mortgages.  Heiden’s responsibilities as co-president include joint leadership, along with Mike Heid, of the overall business and strategic direction of the Mortgage division.  The following areas within Mortgage report directly to her:  National Consumer Lending, Institutional Lending – Correspondent and Wholesale, Loan Servicing and Post Closing, Consumer Marketing, Customer Retention, Cross Selling and Ventures.  Heiden joined the Wells Fargo organization in 1981.

Heiden serves on numerous professional and community boards, panels, and committees including United Way of Central Iowa, Habitat for Humanity, Chrysalis Foundation, Iowa Business Deputy Council, Iowa State University Foundation, and Trinity Lutheran.
